About us
 I was first introduced to Riplees Ranch Super Premium pet food through my best friend, my cat Spike. He developed crystals in his urine, a serious life threatening condition that blocked him from relief. I was forced to call the vet out on the weekend to tend to him which cost more money than I wish to talk about. They did a marvelous job of saving his life and Spike pulled through like the warrior that he is. The vet also said that this was likely caused by ash in the food, and some cats are more susceptible than others. I was then forced to look for an alternative food, but I wasn’t sure where I would find it. By chance I explained Spikes’ plight to a friend Bridget. She explained that she was a distributor for an all Canadian Human grade holistic pet food. I quickly jumped at the idea of feeding Spike something that I was confident would be a superior food. Riplees Ranch did not dissapoint. When I opened my first bag or Riplees, I was surprised by its nice odor. It actually smelled good.
Over the next few weeks I noticed many other improvements: His coat became silky; His stool didn’t smell as much; He had more energy; He was clearly more satisfied after eating and more satisfied with himself. When Bridgette wanted to sell the distributorship and move to Glade to open a resort for dogs, I jumped at the chance to be the Kootenay representative for this superior quality Canadian success story. The great thing about the business is meeting with your furry neighbors from Nakusp to Nelson to Creston to Rock Cr and everywhere in between. I am always available to show pets this wonderful product through free samplings. I love to see the look on their faces when a bowl of Riplees is presented to them. It’s usually one of “What the heck is THAT STUFF”; and they look at me with “who is this guy with who’s got the GOODS!” It is a great way to get popular.
The cost of a bag initially was a shock as I was used to paying 20$ for a 20lb bag of food. Now I was paying over 30$ for a 10lb bag. But I noticed right away that the feeding requirement was much less, and that 10lb bag was lasting as long as the 20lb bag used to last. I now explain it to customers like this: Riplees pet food is like lamb or chicken jerky and major brands are like a big loaf of white bread with a couple pieces of gristle ground in for ‘meat’ . Your pet needs the high quality ingredients to live a better quality of life. And the best part is since feeding requirements are 25-50% less than the big major brands, cost per day is no different.
